Peripheral device with an integrated safety system using artificial intelligence comprises a housing, in which there are: at least one driver configured to obtain an access code from a user and based on said selection of operating modes; at least one security means to enable execution of one or more security operations on data; at least one device for providing interaction of peripheral device with main computing device; means for operatively connecting the security means to the host device in response to an instruction from the host device; apparatus for transmitting data between a main computing device and a peripheral means, such that transmitted data must first pass through a security means; artificial intelligence module.

EFFECT: technical result is higher safety of peripheral device.

Self-monitoring system for detecting the presence of objects

FIELD: Worldwide applications, computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: This invention relates to the field of computing and, more specifically, to methods and systems for detecting the presence of objects with a self-monitoring function. A self-monitoring system for detecting the presence of objects, comprising at least one light source, which is able to emit light in a predetermined spectrum, wherein each of the sources has a different predetermined spectrum for each predefined area; at least one means, which is sensitive to light in the predetermined spectrum, is able to detect the light reflected from at least one object if said object is present in a predefined area, and is designed to generate a presence signal on the basis of the detected light; and at least one processor device for determining the presence of an object on the basis of the presence signal generated in the previous step, wherein the processor device draws a conclusion about the presence of an object in the predefined area on the basis of the presence signals.
